Our traditional chore coat gets an update in a sartorial Italian fabric; think of this as tailored workwear. The basic silhouette ?? clean lines and three patch pockets ?? remains the same. but we’ve updated this utilitarian classic with a butterfly lining. slimmer fit and a slight lapel roll at the collar. all elements more typically found in a sport coat or blazer. The Italian velvet ?? which comes to us from Pontoglio. a 63-person mill on the banks of the Oglio river that’s been synonymous with fine Italian velvet and corduroy since its founding in 1883 ?? is soft. plush and luxurious.?
